Soil Food Web Analysis

We perform soil food web assessments on compost, compost tea, and soils. Working with our clients, we devise a sampling plan that will answer their questions.

Samples are examined under a microscope and the bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes, and other microorganisms are identified and quantified.

You are provided with a comprehensive report that shares details such as number (micrograms per gram) of each major organism group, the Fungi:Bacteria ratio, and indications of whether levels are acceptable/low/high. We can also share photos and video if you are interested.

As of spring 2021 we will be a certified Soil Food Web Laboratory by the Soil Food Web School.
